The Club can reserve tickets for the Indians-Nationals game to be played at Nationals Park on Saturday, September 28; starting time 4:05. This is the last series of the year for both teams and may decide playoffs participation.

The Nationals game ticket price will be $33 (includes $1 to the Club for handling). The seats will be in Section 202.

Unfortunately, the Nationals organization requires a 50% at-risk deposit for holding seats in advance of purchase. Because we could be holding up to 60 seats, the Nationals would ask for as much as a $1,000 deposit, which would be forfeit in part or in whole if we do not purchase 30 seats. We believe we will sell 30 tickets but we must ask persons who want tickets to the Nationals game to place a deposit of half (or full amount – we will keep track) of their ticket reservation/price with the Club.

Persons may elect to pay half the ticket price above to reserve seats. This will hold tickets for them and allow the Club to hold the reservations with the Nationals organization. This deposit is at risk if the Club does not ultimately sell half the tickets it reserves. Persons paying half price now will pay their second half in August after notification from the Club (the Nats organization requires us to make full payment by the end of August.

You will be provided two options to pay (check and Paypal) and you will be asked to state your preference in terms of paying full price per ticket or putting down half price per ticket and pay the remainder in the August. The payment instructions are included below and will also appear when you fill out the form.

The tickets are $34 each (includes $1 handling for the Club) and will be in Section 49 or 61 (3rd base side). – Persons using PayPal to purchase tickets, add one more $1 (see below).

We can confirm that Mandy Bell, who covers the Indians for MLB.com, will speak to Club members before the game. The location will be the patio of the Babe Ruth Birthplace and Museum, 216 Emory Street, about a block and a half from the Orioles Ballpark. We will inform persons later of the starting time.

Persons who purchase tickets may also receive one-half-off admission tickets to the Babe Ruth Birthplace and Museum located at 216 Emory Street, about a block and a half across Russell Street from the Left Field Entrance to the stadium. Normal adult price is $10. The Museum takes about a half hour to go through.

We expect about 30 Club members to attend the ball game.

To purchase your Indians-Orioles June 30 tickets, please fill out this form and follow the instructions.

You will be provided two options to pay: PayPal and check. The payment instructions are included below and will also appear when you fill out the form.

1. Mail a check made out to The Cleveland Club to Brooke Stoddard, 815 King Street, #204, Alexandria, VA 22314 for $34 per ticket. Checks need to arrive by June 14.

2. Send money to Brooke Stoddard’s PayPal account – stoddardbc@gmail.com. Add $1 per ticket to cover PayPal’s 3% fee; thus each ticket will cost $35. Transactions need to take place by June 14.

The Club is also organizing a trip to the Indians-Nationals Game on September 28 in Washington. Information about this outing will be forthcoming.

Join Club members on Saturday, April 21 for a 4:05 PM afternoon game of the Tribe vs. the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards, Baltimore.

We have reserved seats in Section 53 between home plate and third base just up from the Indians' dugout and in an area protected from rainfall. Tickets are $29 (including taxes and fees), discounted for the Club from $40.

Tom Steich of the Sports Committee has confirmed that Paul Hoynes, the Indians beat writer of The Plain Dealer, will talk with the Club in Section 53 before the game. Our previous pre-game talks with broadcaster Jim Rosenhaus were highly successful.

You will be able to pick up your tickets at the Will-Call Window of Camden Yards. Additional details to follow.

In addition, Tom is working with the Babe Ruth Birthplace Museum, three blocks from Camden Yards, for discounted admission tickets to the Museum that afternoon. Ruth hit his 500th home run at Cleveland's old League Park. Tom has been to the Museum often and says it can be toured in less than half an hour. Additional details to follow.
